My Writing:
SEO shouldn’t be the only reason someone comes to your website. Sure, it’s great if you’re ranking highly and getting loads of visitors. But if they all leave immediately because they aren’t finding what they’re looking for then what good are your rankings really?
Instead of stuffing a bunch of keywords into an “optimised template” to satisfy an algorithm, my approach to writing is “reader-first”. I create something that your visitors are actually looking for. That means they’ll stick around. They’ll browse. They’ll come back a week later. They’ll buy something. And to me that’s worth much more than a bigger number in your analytics.
About Me:
I’m Matt, a writer for over a decade. I’ve primarily worked for various online businesses on copy for basically everything an online business can do. I have a variety of content ranked highly in a variety of niches (that I’m unfortunately not allowed to talk about… thanks NDA) and have written under a variety of niche-specific personas to target specific audiences and readers. While my work has been primarily been online, I’m more than happy to write content for offline businesses, or even individuals with a project in mind.
When I’m not working, I enjoy building and painting Warhammer models, playing the Pokémon Trading Card Game, spending time outdoors, digital art, traditional creative projects, and gaming.
